MarketingCharts.com just published data from a survey that indicates marketing pros know that relevance is what matters most for email marketing. In fact 87% of respondents ranked it as "very important". Check out the article here MarketingCharts.
What strikes me is that although most marketers KNOW this to be true, few do anything about it. Why? I think its two pronged. First, they lack the customer intelligence data. How can you make an email more relevant to someone if you know nothing about him/her? Second, they lack time. From talking with dozens of clients and prospective clients, it's clear that the process to create an email on most entry level email service providers is too time consuming. The thought of a second or third is ridiculous.
We all know that relevance is extremely important. At Top Right we hope to help you make it a reality.
